A few things I’ve built or love doing.
I worked on detecting unusual ocean drifter behavior using machine learning models. Our project combined clustering and deep learning to identify environmental anomalies and improve the accuracy and efficiency of ocean monitoring.
I built an iOS app that helps English learners practice reading using short passages, vocabulary scaffolding, and spaced review. The design is based on what my own tutoring students told me they needed most.
I’ve been sailing since I was 9 and still help coach younger racers.
I play softball as part of my school's varsity team.
